What is Caimán Cane?

It’s the drink born from the heart of a determined woman. A woman who transformed her story into flavor and her roots into something she now wants to share with the world.

Why the name Caimán Cane?

The name comes from a personal symbol: the caimán (alligator), which represents resilience, strength, and silent power. And “Cane” comes from sugarcane, the root of papelón. To me, they are symbols of strength. I’m a dreamer, a woman with a fire burning inside, and that’s where the name comes from. In every trip I’ve taken, I’ve collected caimans. They’re all over my house, in different forms.

They’re all over my house, in different forms.

Caimán Cane was born in my kitchen, on an ordinary afternoon, when I made papelón con limón the way I always had for my family. That drink, simple yet powerful, has always been a symbol of home, tradition, and love. On a summer trip to the mountains of Breckenridge, Colorado, I realized something. Watching the reaction of the people who tried it—their smiles, their surprise, their instant connection—I knew I had something special in my hands, and that it was time to share it with the world. It wasn’t a planned idea. It was a revelation: “This can’t stay just at home.”

That’s how it all began. With a classic recipe I’ve been making for over 10 years, which took on even more meaning living in Miami, Florida, where the high temperatures constantly push us to stay hydrated. My idea is to share an authentic flavor—no gimmicks, no additives—full of history and emotion. And I gave that vision a name that represents me: Caimán, for my connection to that symbol of strength and presence, and also because I live in Miami, known for our Everglades National Park. And Cane, for sugarcane, the noble base of papelón and all our juices.

Caimán Cane is a reflection of who I am: a woman passionate about what she does, faithful to her roots, and committed to offering something real. That’s how it all started—with a drink that has been with me my whole life. We believe nature is powerful, tradition can be innovative, and when something is born from the soul, it goes far. Our goal is to share this little treasure with many more people, bringing a little piece of home and authentic flavor to every corner.

The founder of Caimán Cane.

Caimán Cane is not just a refreshing and nutritious drink—it’s a symbol of reconnection with authenticity, with nature, with what is ours. For years, I was a pastry chef and a tireless dreamer. I was also a migrant, daughter, wife, homemaker, student… until I fully embraced who I am: a creative, brave, and sweet woman with a clear vision.

I am an inspiration to everyone who comes into contact with me. I radiate trust, enthusiasm, joy, and optimism—because everything I do, I do with honesty, a big smile, and an unshakable faith that the best is always yet to come. Life is now.

Caimán Cane is my personal manifesto—a drink with character, with essence, with direction. I’m building a brand that’s not just about presence, but about permanence.

In the next 10 years, my name and Caimán Cane’s will be tied to a clear vision: to create something that goes beyond the ordinary and stays in the memory of those who recognize true loyalty and authenticity.
